The most recent of the four conferences I have managed, drawing over 400 attendees to Belfast from a variety of countries. A multi-track event with two networking evenings, including a 300-person dinner dance with full theming and live entertainment. Produced the post-event analysis to feed directly into our 2026 event in London.
My seventh virtual conference. The first in 2020 replaced our in-person event due to Covid. This is now a yearly three-day event produced in office by staff in Ipswich, fully curated in-house: we own the abstract and programme selection process rather than passing it to a programme committee. This year sees over 70 presentations and sessions streamed live on Zoom Events for attendees to either join live or catch up on demand.
A creative idea that became a regular monthly event. Slido brings a global audience together to pose questions and take answers anonymously. I host and narrate the session live, and summarise post-event in a variety of formats for the wider membership.
Long-form and short-form for the RQA's quality assurance audience. Editorial style: plain language at expert level, no buzzwords, UK English, sentence case throughout.
Self-paced eLearning modules for QA professionals and broader skills audiences. Authoring workflow gets modules to roughly 75% complete before the speaker review, which keeps the subject matter expert's time focused and the cycle short.
